What is included in the Certified Pre-Owned Additional Limited Warranty?
The Mazda Certified Pre-Owned Additional Limited Warranty will cover components listed below for a total of 3 months or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first from the certified retailed date. (Please see actual warranty documentation).
What is included in the Certified Pre-Owned Powertrain Warranty?
The Mazda Certified Pre-Owned Powertrain Warranty will cover all components below for a total of 7 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first from the certified retailed date. (Please see actual warranty documentation).
What isn't included in the Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty or the CPO Powertrain Warranty?
Parts and Services NOT covered:
- All items not specifically listed as covered on the Warranty documentation
- Repairs covered by the Mazda New Vehicle Warranty or recalls
- Service adjustments and cleaning
- Repairs needed to any engine, transmission or final drive components caused by and aftermarket-installed turbocharger/supercharger
- Repairs caused by damage or unreasonable use (damage from road hazards, accident, fire or other casualty, misuse, negligence, racing, or failure cause by modification or parts not authorized by or supplied by Mazda)
- Damage resulting from lack of required maintenance (failures caused by owner neglecting to perform the required maintenance services set forth in the maintenance schedule of the Owner Manual for the vehicle). Costs of these routine maintenance services are not covered. Proof of maintenance may be required, which may include inspection of the maintenance records.
- Repairs needed to a covered part caused by the failure of a non-covered part
- Repairs to the vehicle if the odometer is altered, broken or repaired / replaced so that the actual mileage cannot be determined
- To the extent allowed by law, loss of use of vehicle including loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss, consequential damages and personal expenses such as motels, food, gas and mileage
- Vehicles manufactured for sale out side of the 50 United States and Canada
- Repairs to the vehicle performed outside the 50 Untied States and Canada, and repairs required because of normal operation outside of the 50 United States and Canada
- Repairs made on or before the effective date of this Mazda Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty will not be valid if the New Vehicle Limited Warranty has been voided or the vehicle has been totaled or salvaged
- Ineligible vehicles include vehicles used by police, taxis, livery, shuttle, commuter, ambulances, tow trucks, branded vehicles, or vehicles equipped with snowplows
What is included in the Certified Pre-Owned Mazda Roadside Assistance Program?
As a Mazda Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle customer, you are automatically enrolled in our roadside assistance program free of charge. Mazda's complimentary Roadside Assistance program for Certified Pre-Owned Mazda owners provides:
- Towing to the nearest authorized Mazda dealership for warranty-related repairs
- Jump starts
- Changing of flat tires
- Gas delivery
- Lockout assistance
If your vehicle breaks down, has a flat tire, or if you're locked out, you can call us toll-free at 1-800-866-1998 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Mazda's roadside assistance program covers you - and all of your family members with valid driver's licenses while driving your new or used Mazda vehicle - for free, for the entire duration of your certified warranty.
